The Woodstock Academy. A format with its quirks and edges. With musicians of all kinds. And yet, it’s a well-rounded experience. We continue our journey towards education together – essentially a professional development program. And we’ve been doing this for over 4 years now. In 2026, the Woodstock Academy will take place for the second time around the beautiful Wolfgangsee – in the three towns of St. Gilgen, Strobl, and St. Wolfgang.

The Woodstock Academy is the educational format of the Woodstock of Brass Music and combines musical training and further education with the incomparable Woodstock feeling. At the end of October, in the three towns of St. Gilgen, Strobl, and St. Wolfgang, around Wolfgangsee.

We focus on the connection between learning and socializing. Improving your instrument skills. Learning new techniques and methods. Meeting musically connected people. The Woodstock Academy is for everyone. Professionals, amateurs, and music enthusiasts come together here. With social distancing, of course. Everything is possible, nothing is mandatory. The range of options is diverse – from workshops to individual lessons, from music hikes to musician meet-ups. Many offerings are included in the basic program, and everything else can be managed in your personal schedule.

It should be cozy. It should be musical.
