"Wickie and the Strong Men" - Viking adventures for ages 5 and up with the Regionentheater

On July 3 at 4 p.m. in the Dobel spa gardens: The Viking adventure with live music, humor, and impressive stage design will thrill the whole family. In case of rain, the performance will move to the Kurhaus. ## Cast off! - "Wickie and the Strong Men" *The mobile KulturGarten is stopping at Dobel Spa Gardens. With a colorful cultural program, the sunny island in the northern Black Forest is becoming a hotspot for the cultural scene. It all kicks off on July 3 at 4 p.m. with the acclaimed Viking adventure "WICKIE AND THE STRONG MEN," known from the popular TV series and film.* The production promises an entertaining experience for the whole family – with lots of live music, humor, and passion, an impressive stage set including a moving Viking ship, and a lovingly designed Viking world. For around 85 minutes plus an intermission, the audience accompanies the clever Wickie on his exciting journey. Wickie – the sometimes fearful but always clever boy – proves right from the start that thinking often gets you further than muscle power: in a competition with his father Halvar, he prevails with a clever construction. Initially reluctant to join the crew as a kitchen boy, Wickie finally becomes part of the team after a storm and a dangerous encounter with the terrible Sven – and repeatedly gets the strong men out of trouble with his clever ideas. Also on board: Halvar, Ylvie, Faxe, Snorre, Tjurre, and Ulme—a colorful bunch who show what team spirit means through solidarity and humor. A love of acting and rousing music take the stage by storm. If weather conditions prevent an open-air performance, the show will be moved to the nearby Kurhaus.
