Calw & Weida partnership celebration

FC Thüringen Weida has qualified for the Ü32 Super Cup, the German championship in veteran soccer. This year, the tournament will take place in Rutesheim—very close to Calw. To mark this occasion, we will welcome the team and their traveling fans to a partnership celebration on the market square. **Catering** Calw clubs will provide catering with grilled delicacies and cool drinks. **The city bet** The visit from Thuringia also brings a challenge for Calw: the team has made a bet that we have to win! "We bet you can't get at least 500 Calw residents to gather in front of your town hall for the reception." – "Great, you're on!" So come to the market square in large numbers, because after all, we not only want to give our guests a warm welcome, but also win the bet. **Partnership in action** The team, some of whom regularly sell delicious "Thuringian roasted sausages" at the Calw Christmas market, are of course hoping for loud support from the people of Calw in Rutesheim – also so that we can send a strong signal of our lively town twinning.
