Hemso got into rap through his childhood friend Ramo from Offenbach and Ramo's older brother. At the age of 15, he recorded his first songs. In 2017, he and Ramo first gained attention with their joint track "Meine Stadt schläft nie," which was released on the newcomer portal of Celo & Abdi. Hemso joined the newly founded label Supremos by 18 Karat in 2019. His most well-known song "Schmeckt" featuring LX has over 15 million streams on Spotify, and the accompanying music video has nearly 7 million views on YouTube. In January 2020, he released his debut album "Knast oder Palast" and even entered the German album charts at number eight.
