Everyone lives happily in the small town on the edge of the forest. But then the mayor has a plan: The small town is to grow bigger. However, there is no space for that, and the forest must go. The children are sad, and the animals are desperate. Juliane and Julius do not want to stand by idly and come up with a plan of their own. Will they manage to save the forest?
