Equipped with a spotting scope and binoculars, we take a walk through gardens and parks. We observe year-round birds and winter birds in and around the garden and learn to recognize them by their calls. We discuss the proper feeding of birds in winter and the Citizen Science project 'Hour of Winter Birds' (first week of January). Children are also welcome, as long as they can concentrate quietly for a longer period. Dress warmly!
Please bring: Your own binoculars, ideally with 8-10x magnification
