Equipped with spotting scopes and binoculars, we take a walk through gardens and parks. We observe year-round birds and winter birds in and around the garden and learn to recognize them by their calls. We discuss the proper feeding of birds in winter, the right garden care, fruit-bearing shrubs, and much more, as well as the Citizen Science project ‘Hour of the Winter Birds’ (first week of January).
Children are also welcome, provided they can concentrate in silence for a longer period. Dress warmly!
Please bring: Your own binoculars, ideally with 8-10x magnification
