Abt-Berthold-Dietmayr-Straße 1, 3390 Melk
René Descartes writes: "Hope is a prompting of the soul to persuade itself that what it desires will come to pass." Inspired by this thought of the great French philosopher, Michi Gaigg has assembled a program dedicated to the certainty that love conquers all inner turmoil, dispels fear, and fills us with confidence. With this concert, an ensemble that has maintained a friendly connection with the Baroque Days for many years returns to Melk. Together with Dorothee Mields – a star of 17th and 18th-century music – they will transform the Kolomanisaal on Pentecost Monday morning into a space where time can be forgotten.
