Spring Concert Brucknerbund Ried

"A platform for young talents!" Warm-up with the "Mini Strings" of the LandesMusikSchule LMS Ried im Innkreis (ages 7-12) under the direction of Klaus Brunner. Then, as the "opening band," the Youth Symphony Orchestra of LMS Ried, conducted by Franz Öllinger, will perform:

- Jean-Joseph Mouret - Fanfare Rondeau
- Carl Strommen - Cumberland Cross
- Ennio Morricone - I Knew I Loved You
- Chris M. Bernotas - Field Day

Together with the Brucknerbund Orchestra, the young musicians of the JSO will play the Menuet 2 and Réjouissance from the Fireworks Music by G.F. Handel.

Then, a brief transition to the Brucknerbund Orchestra with conductor Gunter Waldek:

- W. A. Mozart: Overture to the opera "La Finta Semplice"
- P. I. Tchaikovsky: Nocturne op. 19/4 for cello and orchestra with soloist Anja Steinhuber

INTERMISSION

- A. Piazzolla: Double Concerto for Flute, Guitar, and Strings with soloists Gabriele Seifried (flute) and Markos Destefanos (guitar)
- W. A. Mozart: Serenade in D major KV 320 ("Posthorn Serenade")
