Goiserer Chess Open 2026

From June 26 to 28, 2026, the Festsaal Bad Goisern will be the meeting point for chess players from all over Austria. The Goiserer Chess Open offers three days of exciting tournament chess in a pleasant atmosphere – with fair conditions, attractive prizes, and plenty of space for exchange and analysis. In addition to experienced tournament players, hobby players and ambitious club players are also warmly welcomed. A buffet will provide culinary support, and in a relaxed, sociable setting, there will be enough time for discussions and friendly exchanges. Spectators are also very welcome.

Format:
5 rounds Swiss system in 2 groups
90 minutes + 30 seconds per move, without additional
time credit after 40 moves

A-Tournament: open to all players
B-Tournament: U1700 FIDE-ELO

Evaluation:
FIDE Elo rating
AUT-Elo + DWZ rating in all groups
