The choir Musica Vocalis was founded in 1979 as the "Radochsberg Choir" (named after a district of Abtenau) and has been led by its founder and choir director Matthäus Gsenger ever since. Whether classical choral music, gospels, jazz, or pop songs – the choir feels at home in many genres and is characterized by the diversity of the programs offered and the richness of musical variety. Two choir concerts are organized annually, along with various other musical events. This time – in celebration of the choir's 45th anniversary – the approximately 22 singers will dedicate themselves to the diversity and fascination of folk music from around the world and will bring the Diatonic Expeditions to Abtenau for this occasion.
