"Read on to us - a literary generational contract"

When reading, people come together. Markus Köhle, Wolfgang Kühn, and Mieze Medusa not only write themselves, but they also love to read passionately. After all, literature arises from life and reading. With Gerhard Jaschke, Norbert Silberbauer, and Ilse Tielsch, three recently deceased authors from the Weinviertel provide the impetus that the three authors, who do not come from the Weinviertel, pick up by reading from their works and continuing them in the form of spoken word poetry, slam poetry, and dialect poetry. There will also be pointed information about their lives and works. This results in a unique program specifically designed for the evening, at the end of which everyone will be entertained and a little wiser.

The literary mediation project "Lies uns weiter" (Read Us On) is all about a lively dialogue between literary generations. Markus Köhle, Wolfgang Kühn, and Mieze Medusa not only present one author and two authors who have left strong regional marks in Lower Austria with a broader focus, but they also ask: What do people who take root in the Weinviertel write? What do we learn about a recently past time when we read? What responses does the reading awaken in us? What has changed, what needs to be explained? And where do we find ourselves again?
