The walk takes you through the former four quarters of the St. Pölten old town, with all its colorful hustle and bustle and legendary tales. Quacks, gossipers, and many a disreputable character filled the streets and squares. Those who had something to answer for were put in the stocks – much to the amusement of the other townspeople.
