"It was the Yellowhammer and not the Greenfinch"
Under this motto, you will receive an overview of the bird world, bird songs, and tips for learning the calls of the most important native bird species during the indoor lecture at the Neulengbach School Center.
During the excursion, you will listen, recognize, and practice the art of careful listening and observation in residential areas, gardens, fields, and forests.
Lecture on Thursday from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM
Excursion on Saturday from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM
The meeting point for the excursion will be announced upon registration. (Expected: Kirchenplatz 2, 3040 Neulengbach, at the playground on Schlossberg)
What to bring: binoculars are essential, and a spotting scope if available.
The speaker, Ms. DI Friedgard Engländer, is a landscape planner, field ornithologist (BirdLife), and bird and garden expert.
Cost: 45 euros
