The youth theater ensemble of Act Together presents "Romeo and Juliet" in a modern, contemporary theatrical adaptation. This reinterpretation of the Shakespeare classic combines classical elements with contemporary language and current themes such as identity, self-determination, societal pressure, and peer pressure.
At the center are young people who seek their own path between family expectations and the desire to be themselves. Ro and Julia fight not only for their love but also for the right to their identity.
The production was created in collaboration with children and teenagers, making this theater production an authentic, emotional, and powerful experience.
