Jazz Night at CUBE49

A very special jazz evening is approaching: On Wednesday, May 6, 2026, the Klemens Marktl Trio will be performing in Hagenberg, bringing modern, energetic jazz to the stage. As a special highlight of the evening, the renowned American saxophonist Seamus Blake will enrich the trio – an internationally celebrated musician whom we will have the pleasure of experiencing live at CUBE49.

The Klemens Marktl Trio stands for excellent, modern jazz – lively, clearly structured, and full of tonal colors. Klemens Marktl himself is an Austrian drummer, composer, and bandleader who has been a prominent figure in the European and international jazz scene for many years.

On double bass, we have Milan Nikolić, a virtuoso bassist from Serbia, who has earned an excellent reputation through his collaborations with numerous international jazz greats. As the international highlight of the evening, Seamus Blake (USA) will be our guest – one of the leading saxophonists in the contemporary jazz scene. Blake grew up in Canada, was trained at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, and quickly established himself in New York, where he has been active for decades.
