“Behind the Wall” is intended as an artistic resonance for the State Exhibition 2026.

The exhibition opens a multifaceted space for thought about inner and outer worlds, isolation and protection, societal attributions, and individual self-assertion.

In the historic setting of Schloss Ulmerfeld, a dialogue emerges between architecture and contemporary art, between regional anchoring and supra-regional questions, featuring over 30 artistic positions from various genres.
