On September 13, 2026, the Celtic village of Mitterkirchen will once again transform into a large adventure playground for the whole family. Children and adults can try out how much Celtic strength, skill, and curiosity they have within them. At the many interactive stations, it's all about experimenting, marveling, and celebrating successes! Whether shooting with a bow and arrow, throwing hay bales and tree trunks, or crafting the impressive Celtic war trumpet, the Karnyx – exciting challenges await everywhere. A special highlight is making fire as in Celtic times: Under guidance, children can try for themselves how sparks are created – and with a bit of patience and the right technique, many even manage to ignite a small, real nest of embers. An experience that brings pride! For those who need a snack in between, the snack station is just the right place: Discover traditional dishes as well as modern interpretations and let yourself be delighted by surprising flavors. At the end, each child will receive a personal certificate as a memento of an eventful day in the spirit of the Celts.
