No other domestic group holds the same significance in the world of the twelve-bar blues across Europe as the Vienna Mojo Blues Band. Founded in 1977 by mastermind Erik Trauner, a remarkable success story began in the legendary Jazzland, driven by an unwavering love for the blues and its roots. Despite their integrity and authenticity, the guys managed to score hits in the charts with genre-crossing songs alongside their constant tours both at home and abroad. In this sense, the Mojo Blues Band is an exquisite, living proof that traditional Chicago blues and R&B have no place in the mothballs! The legendary Chicago musician Tail Dragger was even inspired to exclaim enthusiastically through his collaboration with the MBB: "They’re the blackest white boys I’ve ever seen!"
