Cradle Collective

Cradle Collective is an Austrian band founded in 2016, consisting of Florian Trummer, Egon Marbler, and Claus Konrad. Cradle [ˈkreɪdl̩] stands for "origin" or "roots." In the case of the three musicians, those roots lie in the heart of Southeast Styria. After six successful years as Cradle Trio, the band changed its name to Cradle Collective in 2022 – after all, they were no longer performing solely as a trio on stage. Often performing as a quartet with piano, sometimes with additional vocal support, the band captivated audiences with musical diversity that goes far beyond the confines of a fixed genre. In 2018, Cradle Collective released their first EP [Blue Mood], featuring exclusively original compositions. That same year, the band performed at several local festivals, including Old Hodern Festival, Most & Jazz, and the Jazzliebe Festival. The four musicians were awarded the Youth Innovation Prize 2019 for their self-designed event series "Cradle Collective & Friends," which is continuously held at Glam Feldbach.
