The Sensational Evening: A medley of colorful melodies, from musicals to film music, from chorales to Schubert songs, from Viennese songs to folk dances, from hits to arias! And all of this with a lot of humor! Once upon a time, there was an opera singer: Philipp Schausberger. He had two students, one of whom was the cabaret artist Herbert Steinböck, and the other was the pop entertainer Roman Schwendt. And because they loved to sing so much, they made a decision! Let’s have a song evening together! “Great, and what will we sing, Mr. Teacher?” “Everything, everything that brings us joy! Three-part, two-part, solo, quodlibet, canons... or is it canons?” “The plural of canon is canon?” “Very imaginative, Mr. Teacher, and what is a quodlibet?” “Doesn’t matter, let’s just trill, flutter, chirp, whistle, shout, and whisper!” “Three-part shouting... Mr. Teacher, we can manage that!” “And also a few numbers of our own!” “Everything that can be sung in three parts. And the fourth in our group is the outstanding Christina Zauner on the piano. “What kind of piano? Is that the one in the cans?” Have fun with Herbert Steinböck feat. “The 3 BariTöne”!
