Horáková/Maurer focus on the multifaceted relationship between photography and painting in their joint work in "Photography." Since the early 1990s, the artist duo has been developing a visual language in which photographic precision and painterly gesture intertwine, question, and expand each other. With Michaela Moscouw, the FOTOHOF>ARCHIVE turns its attention in the exhibition at >STUDIO to a collection that can undoubtedly be described as unusual. Subverting the conservative intent of an art archive, its components have been deconstructed, reused, and reworked by the artist. A revolution.
