Truckfighters

If you're interested in stoner-influenced, progressive, and melodic hard rock, you probably already know about Truckfighters. Perhaps you're also familiar with the story of how Niklas "Dango" Källgren and bassist/vocalist Oskar "Ozo" Cedermalm came together in 2001 in a rundown rehearsal space in Örebro, Sweden – and how "Desert Cruiser," the first song they ever recorded, has since become a desert rock anthem.

What began with early EPs and the debut album "Gravity X" in 2005 has evolved into a legacy of heavy riffs, expansive grooves, and psychedelic "fuzz monster" energy – traits that have earned them comparisons to the giants of desert and stoner rock.

Despite lineup changes – particularly on drums – founding members Oskar "Ozo" Cedermalm and Niklas "Dango" Källgren have always remained the core of the band. Over the years, they have built a reputation as one of the most significant heavy psych rock acts in Europe, with five studio albums and countless live shows. A live experience full of unparalleled energy and atmosphere – exactly what a rock show is all about. There really is nothing that compares to a Truckfighters live show!

After their album "V" in 2016, it took some time for new material to emerge – but now the Truckfighters are making a powerful return. The band has confirmed that a brand new full-length album titled "Masterflow" will be released in April 2026.

As the guys themselves say: "Not a whisper, more of a scream." The new songs stay true to the Truckfighters' characteristic fuzz-heavy, riff-driven sound – but also carry the weight of experience, evolution, and new creative energy.
