On the first Advent weekend, the concerts at Hermannswörth present an extraordinary concert experience: The vocal soloists of the Company of Music, alongside the recorder consort ELEMENT OF PRIME and a Baroque consort on original instruments under the overall direction of Johannes Hiemetsberger, will bring to life vocal and instrumental treasures of the late Renaissance and early Baroque. They will tell stories surrounding Mary and the Christmas miracle with works by W. Byrd, G. Gabrieli, M. Praetorius, and John Dowland.
