Günzburg Weekly Market

Since 1397, the Günzburg weekly market has taken place every Tuesday in the historic marketplace, making it the oldest weekly market in the region. The vibrant hustle and bustle is not only a great opportunity to stock up on fresh regional produce, but also offers a chance to get to know the city and its residents in a nearly familial atmosphere. Local gardeners offer colorful flowers, fresh herbs, and salad plants. A few meters further, one already feels like they are in Greece. With delicious olives and marinated sheep cheese, a holiday mood sets in. Fragrant southern fruits mix with bright local vegetables. Fresh fish meets South Tyrolean specialties.
