Lunch music in Niedermünster

The association "Mittagsmusik in Niedermünster e.V." was founded in 2012 to ensure the continuation of the series "5nachzwölf - Mittagsmusik in Niedermünster." The special feature of this 25-minute open concert series is that no admission fees are charged, the musicians perform without a fee, and visitors can decide spontaneously to attend. For many, regularly attending the Mittagsmusik marks the beginning of the weekend. On average, the Mittagsmusik is attended by about 250 listeners on Saturdays. The program is extremely diverse: • early music to contemporary composers • vocal and instrumental music • soloists and large ensembles • support for young talent and professionals The voluntary commitment of the association was awarded the Cultural Promotion Prize by the city of Regensburg in 2014.
