Fuchsia and Herb Market

In the birthplace of botanist Dr. Leonhart Fuchs, the popular Fuchsia and Herb Market takes place annually. The marketplace in front of the Fuchs House (birthplace of Leonhart Fuchs) transforms into a sea of vibrant plants and enchanting scents for two days, attracting visitors from near and far. A special highlight is the fuchsia pyramid, featuring around 700 plants. It is set up for the Fuchsia Market not far from the marketplace at the Tourist Information and delights tourists and locals alike throughout the summer. During the market, a free shuttle operates between the pilgrimage basilica and the old town every 15 minutes (9 AM to 6 PM). At the "Flower Box" on Mangold Street, purchases can be stored free of charge.
