The Cäcilien Concert is the highlight and conclusion of the musical year of the oldest brass band in the Salzkammergut. Look forward to a colorful and diverse concert program!

The Bürgerkapelle of Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee was founded in 1834 with the purpose of "giving the celebrations in the town a fitting framework."
The first performance took place at the Corpus Christi festival in 1834. Therefore, the Bürgermusik is the oldest brass band in the Salzkammergut. The brown uniform with felt hat and ostrich feather is derived from the Spanish court ceremonial.
The Bürgermusik consists of a total of 50 members and performs on religious occasions (Easter Sunday, Corpus Christi) as well as for secular matters (morning concerts, honors).
