Dorffest mit Pferdekutschengala

Every year on the second Sunday in September at 10:00 AM, the Berndorf Horse-Drawn Carriage Gala takes place as part of a village festival. As usual, the festival will be opened at 10:00 AM by the Berndorf Trachten Music Band. Before the start of the countryside tour through our community at the foot of the Haunsberg with a view of the Trumer Lakes, the horse-drawn carriages will be presented in the village square and introduced to the guests by Mag. Clemens Schobesberger. More details will be updated in due time.

After the departure of the carriages for the countryside tour, there will be another attraction for the visitors of the village festival. For the first time, the Berndorf Vintage Car Club will present some rarities (Berndorf tractors, English motorcycles, vintage fire trucks from Berndorf, etc.) from the collection of the Berndorf vintage car enthusiasts. After the presentation by the Berndorf Vintage Car Club, the horse-drawn carriages will return to the village square after the countryside tour, showcase their teams again, and head to the parish garden for a break. The supporting program will be rounded off with carriage rides for guests, the ascent of a brewery wagon, pony rides, and a bouncy castle for children. Our guests will be treated to traditional specialty cuisine from the Berndorf clubs, as well as from local farmers and farmwomen.
