The music of Skład Niearchaiczny captures the true essence of the Beskidy landscape: vast, untamed, and full of striking contrasts. It is an attempt to make the spirit of the mountains audible – a boundless freedom and a power that arises from simplicity. The band draws from the traditions of the Żywiec Beskids, but does not treat them as relics of the past. Instead, a music emerges that is deeply rooted yet consciously contemporary. It is not about the reconstruction of folklore, but about its continuation. Sounds in which archaic roughness merges with modern sensitivity. A meditation on time and memory – and on what continues to live on in us from tradition to this day.

One thing is clear: when the participants of the Schallwellen music workshop come together, Lake Lunzer is anything but a still body of water. From early morning until late evening, yodeling, fiddling, and practicing take place by the lakeside. By the end of the week, a program is put together that is worth listening to. What distinguishes the educational concept of this music workshop is the defined goal of creating a common repertoire for all workshop participants. This means that everyone learns the same pieces in their respective registers, and in the end, everything is combined into orchestral arrangements. An overwhelming experience! All of this happens by heart, without sheet music, giving the melodies a much higher chance of staying in the participants' minds and continuing to dance in their heads throughout the year.
