Season Opening SCHAUBERGWERK GRILLENBERG

On May 1, 2026, the gates of the Show Mine Grillenberg in 2650 Payerbach will reopen.
Tours:
• 1:30 PM Special Tour (from 12 years / max. 10 people)
Pre-registration is required for the special tour at
Tel. +43 676 / 402 70 78 (no SMS)!
• 2:30 PM Standard Tour through the mine
• 3:30 PM Standard Tour through the mine
At the same time, "The traditional Maypole raising" will take place at the village square by the pavilion in Payerbach.
The show mine is open from May to October, and every Saturday at 2:30 PM, an additional mine tour (no registration required) takes place. Generally, appointments for mine tours can be arranged at any time at: Tel. +43 2666 / 52423 12 or on weekends at Tel. +43 676 / 4027078. Duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour.
Admission: Adults € 12.00; Children aged 4 to 15 years € 7.00
Price for the special tour: € 20.00 per person
Warm clothing and sturdy footwear are recommended, as the temperature in the mine is a constant 8° C.
Helmets and lights will be provided.
The visit to the show mine is not suitable for persons with physical disabilities. Dogs are not allowed.
