No to money!

It promises to be a nice evening at Richard and Claire Carré's. The new parents have invited Richard's mother Rose and Richard's best friend and employer Etienne Rougery for dinner. Richard has something to announce: he has won 162 million in the lottery. The joy is immense, but it doesn't last long. The evening takes an unusual turn when his loved ones learn that their host, after careful consideration, has decided to forgo the winnings. He believes that money does not bring happiness. They cannot understand his decision, as there are certainly ways to use the money. However, it is not too late to redeem the lottery ticket if only they could persuade Richard. Misunderstanding, convictions, and desires culminate in a gradual escalation. The evening is heading towards an unexpected conclusion.
