There are "only" 297 steps or about 60 meters of "ascent" – then you will be on the closed observation platform of the approximately 65-meter-high wind turbine, model E-66. Fortunately, you don't have to climb the stairs from the outside as usual, but can use the "comfortable" and safe spiral staircase inside the tower. At the top, you will be greeted by a magnificent view of the East Frisian landscape and the sound of the 30-meter-long rotor blades. By the way, there are only two walkable wind turbines in Germany. So, overcome your fear of heights and start climbing!
