43rd Neueneburg Art Week

After the successful and well-attended Art Week 2025, it will once again take place this year at the Rauchkatengelände at Neuenburg Castle. Five artists, selected by a jury from many applicants, will engage with the regional theme of textiles and fabric during the week of August 24 – 30, 2026, creating unique works. During this time, visitors can experience the creation process live in the open-air studios at Neuenburg Castle on the Rauchkatengelände and engage in conversations with the artists. Additionally, school classes will be introduced to art and culture daily under the guidance of art educators and will have the opportunity to experiment artistically with the materials provided. On Sunday, August 30, starting at 1 PM, there will be a grand closing presentation featuring an attractive and diverse accompanying program, including demonstrations of textile and weaving crafts. The Neuenburg local association organizes the legendary baking day at the Rauchkate at Neuenburg Castle (Schlossgang 1). After a musical welcome, the works created in Neuenburg will be presented at 1 PM. This will be followed by musical arrangements, guided tours, and discussions with the artists. The culinary offerings will be diverse, regional, and creative.
