In engaging with local contexts and cultural codes, she expands her photographic and performative practice with new perspectives between intimacy and estrangement. The works created in Mexico combine personal experience with social observation and negotiate power, visibility, and representation. For her solo exhibition at OK, Andessner condenses these impressions into a multifaceted exhibition that links individual narratives with global issues.
