TOURDATA

Kaspar Harb Gasse 4, 8430 Leibnitz

The "Sir" Oliver Mally Group stands for the fusion of traditional blues elements with singer/songwriter components. Since 2023, the band has been expanded by the Munich guitar master Peter Schneider, who is the perfect complement to Mally. The band proves that blues is by no means a genre of the past, but a timeless language that transcends boundaries. On this evening, in addition to keyboard virtuoso Franz Kreimer, there will be further exceptional support.

Thomas Feldmann, one of Germany's most prominent musicians, will take to the saxophone and harmonica. Thomas Feldmann began his musical career in the early 1980s in Bielefeld. By the end of the 1980s, he played with leading blues bands in Germany such as the Powerhouse Blues Band, the Matchbox Blues Band, and the Blues Company. He then became a member of the Bluescasters and the First Class Blues Band, accompanying renowned artists from the USA such as Big Jay McNeely, Johnny Copeland, Karen Carroll, and many others. Thomas has played harmonica and saxophone on over 60 recordings in Germany and worldwide. In the 2000s, he performed concerts across Europe and worldwide, including in Moscow, Beijing, and the USA. From 2014 to 2023, he was a member of the Kai Strauss Band, which performs throughout Europe. In 2024, Thomas won the German Blues Awards in the categories of harmonica and saxophone.
