For over 10 years, the two Blues & Roots musicians have been performing together on international stages and festivals. With their two-part harmonies, handmade sound, and unfiltered storytelling, the award-winning duo shares in their songs the stories that life writes. Musically, Black Patti draws inspiration from the unique blend of rural styles that emerged in the USA before the Second World War. With their highly varied repertoire, the Southern Germans present intricately crafted and touching roots music that spans deep, dark Delta blues, lively ragtime, and soulful spirituals. Their music inspired the world-renowned illustrator, founding father of the underground comics scene, and pre-war blues specialist Robert Crumb, who designed the cover artwork for their current album "Satan's Funeral" (2021).
