Bare Bones, a 100% Acoustic Concert
Bryan Adams on guitar and Gary Breit on piano in a special show
The famous Canadian artist Bryan Adams will perform at the Great Festival Hall in Salzburg on June 23, 2026, presenting his brilliant 100% acoustic concert as part of "The Bare Bones Live." For two hours, Bryan will offer more than just music on guitar, accompanied solely by his pianist Gary Breit. The artist will reveal his soul – the entire concept of the concert is based on the desire for each individual in the audience to feel that Bryan is playing just for them personally.
The Bare Bones Live offers a unique opportunity to experience Bryan Adams in his most original form. The audience will feel as if they are sitting in their own living room, experiencing a particularly intimate Bryan Adams.
Songs like "Run to You," "It’s Only Love," "Here I Am," "Cuts Like a Knife," "I Finally Found Someone" (originally sung as a duet with Barbra Streisand), and especially "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" bring to life the timeless greatness of Bryan Adams' musical mastery – perhaps in the most unique form of an Adams concert ever. The acoustic interpretation of his greatest classics has been enthusiastically received by critics and fans alike.
Bryan Adams – the rock legend that time bows to
Bryan Adams, known for his distinctive voice, heartfelt lyrics, and powerful stage presence, has been a mainstay in the music industry for decades. With timeless hits like "Summer of ’69," "Heaven," and "Run to You," Adams has become synonymous with anthemic rock that excites people all over the world.
The celebrated artist has been touring the globe for nearly four decades. His music has charted in over 40 countries and has been honored with numerous awards, including a Grammy, American Music Awards, three Oscar nominations, five Golden Globe nominations, and the designation as Companion of the Order of Canada.
And as he likes to say: "Every time someone gives me a compliment, I say, ‘Rock ’n’ Roll keeps you young!’ Playing music and seeing the world – that’s not a bad job if you get to do it."
In 2018, he ventured into the world of musicals, co-writing the songs for "Pretty Woman: The Musical." In 2022, he released his 16th studio album "So Happy It Hurts."
In 2023, he followed in the footsteps of Taylor Swift and re-recorded some of his greatest songs – released on the double album "Classics." Shortly thereafter, a three-album box set featuring recordings from his Royal Albert Hall residency was also released.
In August 2024, Bryan founded his own independent record label, Bad Records, and released a limited 7-inch digital single along with a music video featuring the two songs "Rock And Roll Hell" and "War Machine."
Gary Breit
Gary Breit is a Canadian pianist who has been collaborating with Bryan Adams since 2002 and is his only musical companion at the Bare Bones concerts. Breit played keyboard on Adams' album "Room Service" (2004) after Adams' former keyboardist Tommy Mandel left the band. Since then, he has continuously toured with Adams and his band.
