Tales and Images from the Village Inns of Windhaag: In the past, the inn was more than just a place to eat and drink. At the inn in Windhaag, people gathered, talked, laughed, celebrated, and lived the village community. The village inns were meeting points for young and old, places for festivities, conversations, and stories. Much of this has disappeared today, but the memories remain. On Sundays and public holidays during the International Museum Day action week, the Green Belt Center invites you to visit the special exhibition "This is How It Was at the Inn" for free, to rediscover the former village inns of Windhaag near Freistadt with old pictures, personal stories, and a recreated inn scene. A piece of living tradition that becomes visible again. Note: Drinks are available in the museum's lounge.
