In her solo exhibition "Stable Performance," Lisa Großkopf explores the demands and power dynamics of the contemporary working world – in art and beyond. The photographs, videos, installations, and performances on display humorously, critically, and painfully address the pressure to work on oneself and to constantly optimize. They locate this pressure both in beauty treatments and in physical boundary experiences in the history of performance art. Accordingly, "performance" here refers to both a medium of art and a term from the business world that evaluates the performance of, for example, a worker, a product, or a company.
