PRAMTALER MUSEUM WEEK: Reading from the letters of Margret Bilger and storytelling café

The team at the Bilger-Breustedt House has been paying special attention to the review of the in-house archive for the past two years. During the professional sorting, digitization, and archiving of thousands of letters, documents, certificates, statements, objects, photos, and much more, quite a few "astonishing" discoveries have been made. Highlights from the Bilger House archive will now be presented to the public. As a special highlight, historically relevant letters from Margret Bilger will be read during the Pramtal Museum Week on Saturday, May 9, 2026, and people who personally knew Margret Bilger or have heard stories about her are invited to share their stories or letters from Margret Bilger. The storytelling café will take place in a cozy atmosphere - with coffee and cake. On this occasion, the exhibitions "Highlights from the Archive - Astonishing Discoveries," "Couples - Hans Joachim Breustedt," and the special exhibition by artist Bernadette Mayer "Sometimes This, Sometimes That" can also be viewed.
