Symphonic Orchestra Leibnitz - Classical & Marimba

The second part of the concert will be lively and modern: A young, talented musician from the Leibnitz music school will perform as a soloist on the marimba. Together with the orchestra, he will interpret the Concerto for Orchestra and Marimba by Emmanuel Séjourné. This work is considered a milestone in percussion literature and combines lyrical passages with influences from jazz, rock, and flamenco – a fascinating sound world full of rhythm and energy. The grand finale will be an exhilarating medley featuring music by Duke Ellington. We look forward to delighting you with our music! Participants: Symphonic Orchestra Leibnitz
