The Magic Flute in the Temple of Night

A special performance of The Magic Flute by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart takes place in the mysterious grotto complex of the Temple of Night. Accompanied by Emanuel Schikaneder, the librettist of the opera, the audience will be introduced to the creation story and the hidden puzzles of this masterpiece. An international ensemble interprets the most famous arias of the opera, from the Queen of the Night to Tamino and Pamina. Music, history, and location merge into an extraordinary opera experience. Please consider the 10-minute walk from the park entrance to the Temple of Night; we recommend wearing comfortable footwear. Before the performance, we offer our guests the opportunity to explore the historic garden grotto on their own and to visit the famous Temple Bar from the 1960s. Bad weather plan: Since the event takes place outdoors, the performance will be moved to our banquet hall in the castle in case of bad weather. There are 2 ticket categories to choose from: standard seating and our front-of-stage seats for concertgoers who want to be particularly close to the outstanding artists.
