Berndt Luef & Jazztett Forum

The ensemble founded by Berndt Luef in 1993 is one of the few larger groups in Graz that has been continuously active and has developed its own musical identity, which has been shaped not only through the creation of special compositions and improvisations but also through discussions and exchanges of opinions among the musicians. In the music of Jazztett Forum Graz, more is made audible than just interesting sounds and technically sophisticated showcase pieces. Berndt Luef also takes a stance on current political events in his music. The current program titled "Blue Arcus" (*1) includes excerpts from Berndt Luef's series of compositions "Reflections" and "Music from a Walk Through the City."
