Classical Pur in Hinterstoder - Gundula, Bettina, Alois & Friends
After the great success of the first two Classical Pur festivals in Hinterstoder, the ambitious organizing trio of Alois Mühlbacher, Gundula Leitner, and Bettina Leitner-Pelster has once again put together a beautifully curated and appealing program for 2026. The three internationally engaged musicians will set musical highlights over three days in the Hösshalle and the parish church of Hinterstoder, accompanied by friends.
FRI, August 21, 2026, 7:30 PM The program "TIS NATURE'S VOICE" will open the CLASSICAL PUR weekend in the parish church of Hinterstoder, featuring countertenor Alois Mühlbacher and the Pallidor ensemble with works by HENRY PURCELL.
SAT, August 22, 2026, 7:30 PM On Saturday, the concert "Tradition in Transition" will take place in the Hösshalle Hinterstoder. Cellist Gundula Leitner, together with her Agnes Quartet, will present works by Puccini, Verdi, and Leitner.
SUN, August 23, 2026, 11:00 AM The "Matinee on Sunday" will bring the festival full circle, as the initiators of the festival will perform music by Beethoven, Schubert, and M. Bartholdy in the Hösshalle Hinterstoder. The renowned organist Bettina Leitner-Pelster will be joined by Gundula Leitner, Alois Mühlbacher, and mezzo-soprano Hannah Fheodoroff.
