UNI-SONO & String Ensemble Waidhofen/Ybbs

The vocal ensemble uni-sono will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Founded by music students, the Lower Austrian vocal ensemble stands for high-quality a cappella music in all its facets. The anniversary program of the ensemble is just as diverse. From music of the Renaissance, Classical, and Romantic periods to Gospels and modern music, whether classical or pop, there is something for every taste.

As varied as the program is, so is the history of the ensemble. As a prizewinner of national and international competitions, performances at the Wiener Musikverein, the St. Pölten Festival Hall, the Casino Baden, with the Lower Austrian Youth Choir, with pianist Lukas Sternath, actor Tobias Resch, and the international early music ensembles "I fedeli" and "Mediva" complete the ensemble's story. A regular highlight is the organ concert on Sundayberg, which, featuring organist Walter Zambal, delights hundreds of visitors every year.

Joining in Losenstein: a string quartet from Waidhofen an der Ybbs, which also knows no boundaries between classical and pop music and will add a special touch to the evening! Admission: Donations are welcome!
