Welcome and Introductory Tour in Early Summer

It is hard to find a more impressive overview of the holiday region than from the Wildkogel at 2,224 m – the local mountain of the area. The ride up with the Wildkogelbahn (paid, free with the National Park Summer Card) already offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain world.

Once at the top, a scenic hike towards the Wildkogel summit begins. Step by step, a panorama unfolds that ranges from the distinctive three-thousand-meter peaks of the Hohe Tauern National Park to the gentle grassy mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps. A cozy stop along the route invites you to enjoy regional delicacies before heading back to the mountain station.
