Boat tours on the Lühe and Elbe with the barge ELLI The "ELLI" ** ** is a historical harbor barge built in 1923. The Lühe-Aue Association organizes trips on the Lühe and possibly on the Elbe. These boat tours impressively showcase the maritime beauty of our rivers. On our public tours, you can reserve one or more seats depending on availability. You can book all tours on our website https://luehe-aue.de or at verein@luehe-aue.de. Please arrive half an hour before departure at the respective starting harbor. The Lühe-Aue Association does not intend to make a profit, therefore we kindly ask for a donation of €20 per person to keep the Elli operational. Our sailing times depend on many factors. Tide, moon, wind, rain, and the Lühe lock influence the water level in the Lühe. At the beginning of each season, we determine the possible sailing times. The departure point is the harbor in Horneburg (Hafenstraße, 21640 Horneburg) or the harbor in Steinkirchen (Am Hafen 21720 Steinkirchen). A trip lasts about 3.5 hours. However, this is always dependent on the water and weather conditions on the respective day. No catering is provided on board, but you are welcome to bring drinks and food. A small toilet is available on board. The Elli is also bookable for private outings (e.g., club trips, birthdays, corporate or family celebrations). For such an exclusive tour, the Elli is at your disposal, and you can book the whole ship with up to 20 seats.
