Rottweil Music Festival Sommersprossen celebrates 30 years of the Erich Hauser Art Foundation

To mark the 30th anniversary of the Erich Hauser Art Foundation, we would like to celebrate together and organize an open, vibrant cultural day that brings music and the visual arts together. A diverse program featuring concerts, art workshops, guided tours, and culinary offerings invites you to linger and explore. The daytime musical program will be presented by musicians from Rottweil and the music school, together with festival artists. Performers will include Simon Strasser, Fritz Pahlmann, Janina Ruh, Ricardo Marini, and Benjamin Coyte. The entire grounds will be the venue for performances; the concerts at 11 a.m., 5 p.m., and 8 p.m. will take place in the Werkhalle. The matinee at 11 a.m. and the evening concert require a ticket; all other events and concerts are free of charge. **10 a.m.:** Site opens **11 a.m.: MATINEE ** Advance tickets €19.00 / At the door €21.00 **Contemporary music concert**  **Starting at 12:00 p.m.:** **Open program + art activities** **From 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.:** **Short guided tours **with musical stops at various locations on the foundation’s grounds (Pyramid/Black House/Park) **5:00 p.m.: Project concert ** **Terry Riley (*1935) “In C”** _In C_ is an early work of Minimal Music, composed in 1964 by Terry Riley for any number of unspecified performers. The composer provides detailed performance instructions: The short, numbered musical phrases may be repeated as often as desired; each musician decides for themselves when to move on to the next phrase. Rhythmic shifts are encouraged, as is the overlapping of adjacent phrases. The number of performers and the duration of the performance are variable. The concert is thus the result of a democratic process! _Orchestral project featuring musicians from the festival orchestra as well as _ _professionals and amateurs from Rottweil and the surrounding area. _ **8:00 PM: Evening Concert ** Advance tickets €29.00 / At the door €31.00 **Concert with Stephan Micus** (*1953) The composer, who was commissioned by Erich Hauser to create experimental musical pieces that can still be heard today in the sculpture park, will perform his multifaceted works—played on a wide variety of instruments from around the world—in the Werkstatthalle.
