Monastery, Children, World Heritage | Family Day in Maulbronn

There’s plenty to experience at the “Monastery – Children – World Heritage” event day at Maulbronn Monastery. The monastery and the town of Maulbronn invite all children and families to a day of fun, games, and culture in the monastery courtyard. There’s plenty to experience and discover for young and old alike: From 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., an engaging and varied hands-on program awaits you. The entire monastery courtyard transforms into a playground and leisure paradise for families with children. Almost all activities are available free of charge. This is made possible by the active support of volunteers from clubs and institutions. Look forward to a colorful program with cheerful music for the whole family! During the event day, there will be a selection of delicious snacks, refreshing drinks, and sweet treats for young and old alike! On June 7, 2026, we will celebrate UNESCO World Heritage Day under the motto “**Together for Peace and Understanding**.” Offering a glimpse behind the scenes of World Heritage sites, experiencing and bringing World Heritage sites to life, and bringing people together—these are the three goals of UNESCO World Heritage Day.
